Some midi loft beds with storage come with the desk already in the bunk (as illustrated in the photo above), while others like our Luna Midi Bunk have the ladder set on the right hand side so that the desk can be put at the left (please inquire in the store, on the phone or add this in the comments section when you're looking around in case this is important to you).
Most midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. This is not included in the price of the bed, therefore we suggest looking at our fantastic mattress deals to find a deal that is within your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk has a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models feature the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleepovers or to create more storage space under the bed. They can be either open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for complete details).
A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to another, or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings, and that there's no need to take up valuable floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone a step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
